Where Community Thrives

Veronique Bourbeau
CEO & Founder

Veronique Bourbeau has spent her career answering one question: How do we unlock the impossible? As the founder of Run4Humanity, she has transformed a bold solo vision into a rapidly growing non-profit currently forging strategic partnerships with some of the world’s most prominent international NGOs. A recognized voice in the global water industry, she has addressed audiences of over 500 CEOs and corporate leaders, sharing the definitive blueprint for creating large-scale change.
Her mission at Run4Humanity is forged in lived experience rather than theory. At just 12 years old, Véronique survived a profound near-death experience—a definitive moment that awakened an unshakeable resilience and a lifelong commitment to building a better world. Years later, her humanitarian vision was further shaped while working as a journalist in Senegal. There, she witnessed firsthand both the devastating impact of limited access to clean water and the profound, enduring humanity of the local communities.
Véronique is also a world-class ultra-distance runner whose methodology was built in the world’s most demanding environments. Her athletic achievements include running the entire 3,010-kilometer length of Japan in just 72 days, and breaking the outright record at the 2019 Malaysia 444km Coast-to-Coast race, finishing in 98 hours and 27 minutes. As the published author of Fearless: One woman's transformational journey from a treadmill to running the African Continent, she applies this same meticulous planning and undying resolve to the complexities of global logistics and high-stakes NGO scaling.
This dedication to lasting change is heavily anchored in her academic background. Véronique holds a Master’s degree in Public Administration, earned with a mention of excellence, specializing in Results-Based Management with a major in psychology. This background provides the rigorous, scientific foundation behind the Run4Humanity Behavioral and Environmental Transformation Program.
She is currently preparing to become the first woman in history to run the 14,000-kilometer length of the African continent. Véronique will use this historic platform to finalize her second book and deliver international keynote addresses, directly linking a high-performance behavioral mindset to long-term project sustainability and grassroots community empowerment.
